Finding Who?
Hi folks, I'm Aisha, but everyone just calls me 'ish.
In June of 2012 my SO's kidneys failed. He was hospitalized for 10 days and was in pretty bad shape when he came home. I spent the next year or so taking care of him, along the way I lost a lot of myself. I stopped dancing and singing in the living room, I stopped reading tarot and I stopped giving a damn about my appearance. Mr. 'ish is on home dialysis now and doing so much better, he doesn't need me to take care of him anymore, so what am I left with?
This blog is my attempt to record picking up the pieces. I've made a list and now it's time to start checking stuff off!
